Call of Cathulhu (Real Ghostbusters)

When you think of it, the Ghostbusters and Lovecraft are an ideal combination. Gozer could easily have stepped out of HPL's pantheon. But to mix them on a kid's Saturday morning cartoon show? Now that's just twisted. I wasn't one of the lucky few to see this when I was a kid, but when I got a copy in the mail a few years ago my girlfriend and I just sat there with our jaws hanging open as the episode unfolded. This one has it all, the Necronomicon, Cthulhu, cultists, star-spawn; you name it. It even cribs names from some of Lovecraft's fellow authors for it's characters. Is it a faithful adaptation of Lovecraft? No, but it is good fun, and treats Lovecraft's creations with respect. This is a difficult program to track down, but is well worth the effort.
