update: Here is the post
that alerted me to this production:
~I am in the process of finishing a script for a film
loosely based upon the Lovecraft Mythos as well as very
loosely on the X-files.
I
am looking for people interested in acting, production
or any other facet of the film making process. This
film will be produced by myself and a colleague and
shot with vhs or digital camcorder.
This
is a very low budget project, so we dont expect to pay
anyone. We're not paying ourselves, and are investing
our time and own money for things like sets and whatever
else we need.
This
will be the first film for either of us and we are looking
for people interested in the Detroit area to respond.
Thanks
for your time.~

~Well,
a Lovecraftian film that isn't yet, but may be someday
is Casino R'lyeh. If it ever gets off the ground,
it'll be the second HPL-inspired film created by the
team that was responsible for "Cthulhu Wore
Tennis Shoes" at the latest HPL Film Fest.
Considering how disorganized we are, it may be a film
that never was, despite our great title song: Goldtentacle
... the god with the squamous touch ...~

Tice, Casino R'lyeh was never produced, and did
not make it past the idea phase.
